Also, I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous opportunities to increase your involvement with the College of Technology and UH this year, whether it is by mentoring our students or simply showing your Cougar Pride by wearing red on Friday.
Please get to know our talented faculty – exceptional teachers, technologists, and researchers who have the real-world connections to the business and industry communities that make a significant difference in your learning experience.
During the 2011/2012 academic year, we raised more than $1 million in private support to the College. Additionally, research awards totaled $766,000. Research expenditures within the College have totaled over $1.5 million.
As we look forward to another successful year, I hope that we will continue to see the active involvement of our alumni and friends. I will keep you updated on our growth and progress —and how to take part. We appreciate your commitment and all that you are doing for the College.
With warm regards,
