Dr. Waite Named Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation 2011 Educator of the Year

Associate Professor Dr. Jerry Waite was recently awarded the 2011 Educator of the Year award from the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF).

This award is unique in that candidates are nominated by students currently receiving a scholarship through PGSF. Dr. Waite was nominated by COT alumnus Colby Kibbe, a digital media graduate. The award recognizes Dr. Waite’s commitment to excellence in educational instruction and his enthusiasm for print and digital media.

Dr. Waite is the coordinator of the Digital Media in the College of Technology. He joined the college in 1993 and has built the program from its inception to its current status as a stand-alone degree in Digital Media. Dr. Waite currently teaches most of the undergraduate print-related credit courses in Digital Media and serves on local graphic-related advisory boards.
