Please Note: The RSVP serves as a count of students we are expecting for the ceremony. Completing the RSVP does not reserve a special seat for the graduation candidate nor does it place the graduation candidate's name on a special list.

Arrival Time & Location
Please report to the Main Entrance of the Athletic/Alumni Center at 12:30 PM. Graduates arriving after 1:45 PM may not arrive in time to join the processional. Note: Do not go to the Hofheinz Pavilion concourse. After arriving at the Athletic/Alumni Center, find the appropriate sign of your department for check-in.
The program itself will be approximately 2 hours long.

All students graduating in Spring 2014 are invited to attend and bring 1 guest.
Awards will be presented to outstanding graduates. RSVP to email@example.com no later than Friday, May 2, 2014, 2:00 P.M.. Please advise of any special accommodations.
Prices for UH Custom Student Keeper Gown Unit
- Bachelor Unit (Cap, gown, tassel*) $47.00+ Tax
- Master Unit (Cap, gown, tassel*, & hood**) $74.00 +Tax
- Honor Cords $14.50 + Tax (for Bachelor candidates only)
- Gratitude Stole $30.00 + Tax
Bachelor tassels are maroon and Master tassels are black.
Master Hoods are maroon.
Students do not need to return regalia back to the bookstore. The regalia is yours to keep.
Invitations and Announcements
Students can order their personalized invitations from The Herff Jones Company by calling 281-379-3825, or online at www.herff-jones.com/college/uh.
If you have any questions regarding graduation regalia and/or graduation invitations, please call the UH Bookstore at 713-748-0923.
Undergraduates who are graduating with honors may purchase honors cords from the University Bookstore for approximately $14.50 plus tax. You do not need to take any verification of Honors awards to purchase the cords. (We are very sorry, but graduate students are not eligible for Honors.)
3.75 to 4.0 - Summa Cum Laude
3.50 to 3.74 - Magna Cum Laude
3.25 to 3.49 - Cum Laude
Because Fall 2012 grades will not be official prior to the ceremony, they cannot be calculated into your GPA for announcement of Honors at the ceremony. However, they will be calculated into your official GPA prior to the printing of your diploma.
Since we are having our ceremony in Hofheinz Pavilion, there is no limit to the number of guests you may invite.
Parking is available in the student parking lot across from Hofheinz Pavilion, and in other student parking lots on campus. Please advise your guests that they cannot park in reserved parking areas or handicapped parking unless their vehicle has a handicap parking permit.
While you are in your department line, you will receive a graduation name card (mentioned above) on which you clearly print the phonetic spelling of your name. Hold your card until your turn on stage. Your name will be read from this card as you cross the stage.
Master graduates will wear their hoods for the processional.
Registered CSD Students needing any additional services or have special requests must notify the Center for Students with DisABILITIES (CSD) at least 2 WEEKS prior to their scheduled commencement ceremony. Center for Students with DisABILITIES (CSD) can be reached at (713) 743-5400 or www.uh.edu/csd for any additional assistance and/or specific questions.
Non CSD Registered graduates, parents and guests needing any additional services or have special needs will need to contact the commencement coordinators within their college no later than 2 weeks (December 7, 2013) prior to their scheduled ceremony for any additional assistance or requests.
