The Department of Information and Logistics Technology at the College of Technology offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Media. The University of Houston Digital Media program prepares technologically-savvy graduates to develop, design, and manage established and emerging media that meets and even exceeds the visual communications needs of their clients.
provides the foundation of all digital media technologies from social media to motion media to web media to print media.
prepares students to investigate, plan, and develop a strategy for a profitable electronic retailing (e-tailing) business.
prepares students to develop and maintain websites; and plan and create electronic publishing pieces for e-readers, tablets, emails, and the Internet.
prepares students to produce camera-captured and animated video content for public relations, marketing, narrative, and education.
provides students with the skills and exposure needed to develop packages focusing across the lifecycle from product protection to point of purchase.
prepares leaders to control the production of print media from beginning to end.
