The UH Bound - WCJC Program is an innovative, dual-enrollment collaboration between the University of Houston at Sugar Land (UHSL) and Wharton County Junior College (WCJC). Its goal is to provide a pathway for students in select academic programs to gain admission to the University of Houston.

The UH Bound - WCJC Program partnership allows new high school graduates to co-enroll in both academic institutions while they work to attain the qualifications needed to be admitted as UH students at the Sugar Land Campus. Students who complete a minimum 15 hours a semester—12 hours at WCJC and three hours at UH Sugar Land within one of the eligible majors—within a two-year period, and maintain at least a minimum 2.0 GPA in both institutions, may transition to fulltime status at the University of Houston at Sugar Land.
