Chief officer responsible for all promotional campaigns and publicity, as well as overseeing all marketing for SPB and its events. They are also primarily responsible for conducting organizational assessment, including internal operation efﬁciencies, participant feedback on program and events, etc.
Chief officer responsible for an ongoing program of leadership development for SPB Committee Chairs and Committee Members, as well as the organization and maintenance of the Membership Point system. They are also primarily responsible for the entire recruitment campaign for the Student Program Board.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for bringing both indoor and outdoor cinema events to campus on behalf of SPB, in either the new Student Center Theater or projected outside on our huge inflatable screens, respectively. They are primarily responsible for developing a programmatic experience that correlates with the movie of the night.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for bringing live music events to campus. They are primarily responsible for planning concert acts such as local bands and student musicians, to larger, nationally–recognized performers, as well as the facilitator for interactive music competitions such as UH EDC Festival, UH Voice, and Clash of the Bands.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for bringing comedians and guest speakers to the campus that provides humorous entertainment and discusses various topics, respectively. They are primarily responsible for ensuring that the content of these shows are unique and entertainment that can be found no one where else on campus.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for planning a variety of events on campus that occurs during the evening and weekends. They are primarily responsible for providing fun and recreational activities for residents that can range from traditional Game Nights to Karaoke, as well as unique events such as a Zombie 5K run to a Harry Potter Festival.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for planning larger-scaled events on campus on behalf of the Student Program Board. They are primarily responsible for the organization of annually planned events such as Mr. UH and Winter Wonderland, and the coordination of various third-party sponsors, UH departments, and/or student organizations.
Chief ofﬁcer responsible for planning events off campus, both in and around Houston, as well as on-campus, tournament style events. They are primarily responsible for organizing the traditional semester trip to the Six Flags amusement park, developing events that focus on the students’ competitive nature, and any other trip that is up to the discretion of the Chair.
