Dean's Social Justice Summer Reading Series

Read with us this summer!

We are excited to announce our selection for the Dean’s Social Justice Summer Reading Series! Three years ago, we began a tradition of inviting the GCSW community to join our incoming MSW class in their summer reading assignment. Traditionally the first assignment for our MSW students initiates a journey of critical thinking and action related to social justice. This year, we invite you to join us as we read Men We Reaped by Jesmyn Ward.

Throughout the summer, we invite you to share your insights about the book with us on Facebook and Twitter using #uhsocialjustice. Then join us for a discussion group facilitated by GCSW faculty.
