Research Interests:

Dr. Hansen's research addresses the influence of sociocultural factors on service utilization, treatment adherence, and functional outcomes in depression treatment for minority and older adult populations, specifically Latinos. Her work also encompasses the understanding of contextual factors and interventions to address mental health disparities among those with co-morbid health and mental health disorders. She has participated in several studies using quantitative and qualitative methods to assess service use behavior and adaptation of therapeutic interventions for minority populations.
