Michael
Grinsfelder

Michael was born in Houston and grew up on the Northwest
side of town. He played locally for Cypress Falls
High School and the Houston Hurricanes, and was coached
by Glenn Davis. After high school he went on to
play NCAA Division I soccer for four years at American
University in Washington, DC. While at American,
his team won the Patriot League Championship his junior
year. They followed this championship with a run
into the NCAA tournament to the sweet 16 where they were
eliminated by the eventual National Champion, UNC -
Chappel Hill, in overtime. His collegiate career
ended with another trip to the NCAA tournament where
they advanced to the second round before falling to
Maryland University.
Currently he plays in the Houston Football Association
for the Houston Rangers which he has done so for the
past four seasons |
