Camp Shakespeare Summer Day Camp

Houston Shakespeare Festival invites students entering grades 7 - 10 to the University of Houston to study Shakespeare for five days with HSF professionals. Working in small groups, campers rehearse, stage, and perform scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Comedy of Errors on the Quintero Stage in a workshop performance. Camp Shakespeare is a fabulous way for kids and teens to explore theatre and Shakespeare in a creative and supportive environment. In addition to acting training, students participate in masterclasses with special guests from the HSF company and learn the art of stage combat.
