Academic Affairs Committee
Shall be concerned with all matters of student interest in the area of academic policy, including but not limited to curriculum, faculty-student relations, academic advising and services in general for each academic college. The committee shall recommend actions to take on such matters.
Shall be responsible for reviewing legislation and policies affecting the structure of the Student Government Association, including but not limited to SGA governing documents and the SGA budget. The committee also reviews nominations and appointments for various SGA positions and provides recommendations regarding the nominations to the senate. The committee is also responsible for investigating alleged violations of the constitution and by-laws as well as finding and recommending solutions for such violations.
Shall be concerned with all matters related to student life and student services; considers legislative proposals, initiates programs and initiatives designed to enhance and improve the quality of student life. The committee shall serve as a liaison between students and administration, concerning student services.
University Administration & Finance Committee
Shall be concerned with all issues dealing with the university’s administration and finance, including but not limited to student fees and university vendors and their contracts. The committee shall serve as a liaison between students and the administration concerning these matters.
