Dept. of Public Relations

The department works to promote the transparency and accessibility of Student Government on and around campus by notifying and informing students and the public of the Student Government Association's activities; shall act as the official voice of the Student Government Association's information, policy, and proclamation. The Department shall also act as a liaison to student organizations, coordinate support for student and student group intiatives on campus and seek opportunities for co-programming.

Agenda:
Marketing Plan/ Image Campaign - New logo, branding plan and slogan; "What is SGA/ Did you know?" image campaign; Develop a marketing plan for each special event.

Website Redevelopment

Special Events & Co-Sponsorships - Cats Back (August); T-Shirt Swap (August -September); The Great Pumpkin Event (October); Homecoming Service Project (November); Walk in the Dark (November); NEW: Finals Mania (December); Health Awareness Week (January or Feb.); Safety Awareness Week (November); Library Open House (September); Town-hall(s) with Dr. Khator (TBD).

Town-halls - Organize SGA Town-halls and provide support for College Town-halls; create SGA Town-hall, and College Town-hall Guide.

Media Relations - Develop SGA Newsletter, detailing information about the activities of SGA.
