Innovation & Partnerships

The Center for Innovation & Partnerships (CIP) is a gateway for startups and innovation at the University of Houston. Its goal is to build an innovation ecosystem at UH by partnering with the City of Houston, Greater Houston Partnership and other innovation leaders thoughout the Houston region to support startup and icubation activities in the city. 

The center provides guidance and mentoring to student and faculty startups as part of UH's innovation enterprise, as well as to other startups housed at The Spur, UH's new innovation center and labs. It also provides many innovation events for the Houston startup community.

CIP is leading the development of UH Innovation, a new university initiative aimed at growing its innovation ecosystem.
