Dr. Smits has published five books and numerous research articles concerning the treatment of a variety of anxiety disorders using exercise as a treatment modality.

Dr. Roberts has published 17 books on topics including Army-Navy Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, and Winning is the Only Thing, a history of sports since 1945.

Sports Concussion Safety and Treatment: Past, Present & Future

Dr. Kenneth Podell, Methodist Hospital

Dr. Podell is a board-certified neuropsychologist and co-director of Houston Methodist Concussion Center. Dr. Podell specializes in the assessment and treatment of individuals who have sustained brain injury or disease, with particular expertise in sports concussion, traumatic brain injury and dementia. He serves as the team neuropsychological consultant for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo and Rice University Athletics.
