Climbing classes

In the Outdoor Adventure program, we offer a variety of educational skill classes at $5 per person to the UH community. Climbing classes focus on teaching the basic skills and techniques one may need while on outdoor adventures.

Participants will learn how to fit a harness, tie knots, load a belay device, manage the slack in a climbing system and properly communicate while climbing. No experience is necessary. The deadline to sign up for this climber certification is 24 hours before the certification is set to take place.
