American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
The American Red Cross Lifeguarding program provides individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to keep patrons of aquatic facilities safe in and around water. This program includes a lifeguard training course with aquatic-specific First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. This training will include the proper use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and how to protect yourself following Preventing Disease Transmission (PDT) procedures. The Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR certifications are valid for 2 years from the last day of the course.
These are long days; please remember to pack a lunch, bring warm clothes and extra towels.
Note: Class may be let out early each day due to advanced course progression or instructor discretion. Minimum enrollment for a Lifeguard class is 5 individuals–if this minimum is not met, you have the option for a full refund or rescheduling for a different course date.
