Kim joined the Department of Campus Recreation in February 2012. As the director of Campus Recreation, Kim provides leadership and strategic vision, directs fiscal operations and provides administrative oversight for the department. Kim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from the University of Arizona. Kim fell in love with collegiate recreation as an undergraduate student employee at the University of North Texas and went on to work in various positions at different institutions ranging from a graduate assistant and coordinator, to assistant and associate director positions before accepting the director position at UH. Kim brings more than 20 years of experience within collegiate recreation and she is an active member of NIRSA – Leaders in Collegiate Recreation.
