PRSSA UH Chapter Officers Fall 2009

President: Ania Czarnecka

Originally from Krakow, Poland, Czarnecka received her master's degree in psychology from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She specialized in neuropsychology, with a focus on left-handedness and gender influence on cerebral functional and structural asymmetry, as well as managerial psychology. She also received a certification in business and management from her alma mater.

Her professional experiences include teaching university classes, teaching English and working as a children therapist. Recently she also wrote a chapter on cognitive impairments after a brain stroke, which is a part of a textbook for physiotherapy students.

While conducting communication workshops, Czarnecka became interested in communication studies and particularly in public relations, integrated marketing communication and reputation management. She is currently a graduate student of Public Relations Studies at the Jack J. Valenti School of Communications, where she also works as a teaching assistant.
