Undergraduate Student Success Center (USSC)

The USSC is a coordinated network of resources focused explicitly on the goal of student success. The Undergraduate Student Success Center helps transition students to a good fit major, offers tutoring and learning skills workshops, pre-professional and career advising, and supports first-generation and transfer college students.

Orientation Peer Assistants serve as academic advisors during New Student Orientation. Undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to work with full-time academic advisors in specific colleges.

Provost's Prize for Creative Writing

The Provost’s Prize for Creative Writing is granted each spring and fall semester in acknowledgement of the best prose (fall) or poetry (spring) submission from an undergraduate student. Each award is a cash prize of $2500.
