UH students wishing to broaden their academic experience by studying in a foreign country can arrange plans of study through the Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP). The OISP offers long-distance academic and life support to help ensure the most successful, rewarding experience possible.

Distance education

Individuals wishing to complete or continue their studies and who may be unable to attend campus, may want to take advantage of the distance education opportunities offered through the Office of Planning and University Outreach here at the University of Houston. Selected degree programs and classes are offered in a wide variety of subjects via videotape, TV broadcast, real-time teleconferencing, and on-line formats. Additional courses and programs are offered at teaching centers in the Houston metropolitan area.
