Please find below a list of resources relevant to Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath. This list has been compiled from various resources including UH Libraries and the Graduate College of Social Work.

Please be cautious when googling recovery-related resources, as the information is not always credible and can link to bogus charities, repair companies, and other predatory sources.

Update (9/1/2017): There is no housing on campus available to faculty at this time.

Join the Faculty Helping Faculty During Harvey Facebook group jointly created by the Faculty Senate and the Office of the Provost to help communicate with faculty as we recover from Hurricane Harvey. While this is not an official UH website, membership in the group is actively managed and requires UH faculty credentials. The site provides a survey tool to match the disaster needs of displaced UH faculty with faculty colleagues offering various types of support (housing, food, transportation, etc.).

Have you been affected by the storm? Are you in need of accommodation or other help/resources? Or were you fortunate and got through the storm without experiencing serious issues? Through this survey, we are collecting information on help you may be able to provide or help you may need from others. Our Faculty Senate team will then work on matching your resources with someone in need (or vice versa).
