Assistant Professor - American Politics - Tenure-Track
The Department of Political Science at the University of Houston invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in American Politics.
Area of expertise is open, but we are especially interested in candidates whose research complements existing strengths of the department. Appealing candidates will have extensive methodological training (a strong background in quantitative methods or formal theory is highly valued), will demonstrate a potential for excellence in scholarly research and publication, and will convey a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
The appointment will begin in Fall 2014.
