Clinical Assistant Professor - Low Vision/Vision Rehabilitation
The University of Houston seeks an outstanding optometrist in the area of low vision/vision rehabilitation to join the Department of Clinical Sciences Faculty in its College of Optometry, which is internationally recognized for its clinical and research faculty (see http://www.opt.uh.edu/ for details).
The successful Clinical Track applicant must possess an O.D. degree and have completed a residency/fellowship program or academic experience in the area. The candidate will be expected to participate in clinical teaching and patient care activities within the Clinical Sciences Department and thus must be eligible for optometric licensure in the state of Texas. Experience or willingness to participate in didactic teaching is desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to produce clinically relevant scholarship within the framework of patient care.
