Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor - Opera - Non-Tenure-Track


Responsibilities: Serve as conductor and coach on up to four full opera productions a year (both traditional and contemporary repertoire). Active involvement in coaching recital/audition repertoire. Assist in opera administrative duties with the program director. Collaborate with supervisor of student vocal accompanists. Teach opera conducting, coaching, and lyric diction as needed.

Qualifications: Documented professional experience with opera companies or in a university opera program, coaching and conducting both traditional and contemporary opera repertoire. Excellent keyboard skills. Expertise in lyric diction, including Italian, German, French and English. Ability to work in a positive, supportive, team environment Master's or doctorate preferred as is university teaching experience.

Rank and Salary: Clinical Professor - Assistant or Associate level (non tenure track); salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits included.
