Instructional Assistant Professor - Non-Tenure-Track
The Mathematics Department at the University of Houston expects to hire an Instructional Assistant Professor as early as Spring 2014. This position will serve as the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the department and some teaching is required. This will be a nontenure track position.
Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and will have excellent teaching skills, people skills, and communication skills. Candidates should have extensive experience with teaching online classes, creating videos and streaming them to students, developing electronic course materials, using learning management systems, and using online meeting software.
