Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor - Director, Institutional-Based Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences - Non-Tenure Track
The University of Houston College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full time, clinical-track faculty position at the rank of clinical assistant or clinical associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Administration. We are seeking outstanding individuals for the position of Director, Institutional-Based Advanced Practice Experience. The successful candidate will coordinate institutional-based APPE rotations and will join a dynamic group of faculty dedicated to experiential and inter-professional training of pharmacy students and other healthcare professionals.
The Department of Clinical Sciences and Administration is made up of 32 full time faculty members. The vision of the department is to be a leader in pharmacy and postgraduate education through excellence in translational, clinical, and outcomes research. The Department is a leader in experiential training of pharmacy students and this will be a key position to fulfill this goal.
The position is fully funded by the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. The candidates should possess a Pharm.D. degree and have completed post-doctoral residency training or have equivalent experience. Applicants must be eligible for Texas licensure. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
