Assistant or Associate Professor - Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences - Tenure-Track
Description:
The Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree and postdoctoral experience. Applicants for the Associate Professor level must have established and funded research programs, and be recognized leaders in areas related to cardiovascular/renal/ metabolic diseases, neurological disorders/neuroscience, or receptor-mediated signal transduction that complement our current research emphases. For the Assistant Professor level, preference will be given to applicants possessing or exhibiting significant potential to establish funded research programs in one of the areas mentioned above. Successful applicants will also be expected to teach in all degree programs offered by the College of Pharmacy.
