The O'Quinn Chair in Environmental Law - Tenured or Tenure-Track
The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for The O'Quinn Chair in Environmental Law, a lateral, tenured or tenure track position.
Applicants must hold a J.D. degree (or the equivalent) and should have outstanding records of accomplishment in scholarship, teaching, and service. The Law Center will consider applicants in this substantive area who are tenure track, tenured, or eligible for full appointment with a chair.
The position will commence with the Fall 2010 semester.
The Law Center has 50 full-time faculty and enrolls a total of 1,100 students. In addition to offering a vibrant J.D. program, the Law Center offers LL.M. concentrations in health law; taxation; energy, environment and natural resources; international economics; and intellectual property. The Law Center is fully accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. The Law Center is home to a number of research centers and institutes including the Health Law and Policy Institute.
