Description:
The Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management has an opening for a newly created position for an assistant/associate professor. The University of Houston is a major, public, comprehensive research university situated in the fourth largest city in the United States. The College is a leading hospitality and tourism program in the world. It is located in a world-class facility which contains extensive laboratory facilities, library, convention center and a hotel.
Event Management - Assistant/Associate Professor - Must have a focused research area and have demonstrated the ability to publish in top-tier journals with sound methodology. The primary responsibilities include managing two student run events a year as well as teaching other courses in the event/catering areas. The College is seeking to identify successful candidates with strong research and teaching skills.
