History Faculty Position - All Ranks - Medicine, Health, Science, and/or Technology - Tenured or Tenure-Track

Description:

The Department of History at the University of Houston seeks to make an appointment for an Assistant Professor, but the department will consider outstanding candidates at the senior level in the area of Medicine, Health, Science, and/or Technology.

The successful candidate will help strengthen the History Department's course offerings in these areas as well as the university's commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration with the Texas Medical Center. Applicants at the associate or full level should have a distinguished record of scholarly productivity and all applicants should have a commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
