Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Biochemistry - Tenure Track

Description:

The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor position in biochemistry that will complement existing strengths in enzymology, structural biology, prokaryotic membrane transport, computational biochemistry, microbial genetics, and molecular evolution.

The position requires an earned doctorate and postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a nationally competitive externally funded research program and participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching. The Department has spacious laboratories and offers competitive startup packages.
