Clinical Assistant Professor - Pharmacy - Clinical Sciences and Administration – Non-Tenure-Track

The University of Houston College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full-time, clinical-track faculty position at the rank of clinical assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Administration.

We are seeking outstanding individuals with clinical and research experience.

The successful candidate will be involved in didactic and experiential teaching of professional pharmacy and graduate students in the college specifically in the area of clinical pharmacy skills and interprofessional / early experiential education. Scholarly activities and mentorship of junior faculty on research and statistical skills will be an expectation.

The Department of Clinical Sciences and Administration is made up of 32 full time faculty members. The vision of the department is to be a leader in pharmacy and postgraduate education through excellence in translational, clinical and outcomes research.

The Department has an increased interest in developing research skills in junior faculty and this will be a key position to fulfill this goal.

The position is fully funded by the University of Houston College of Pharmacy.

The candidates should possess a PharmD degree and have completed post-doctoral residency and fellowship training or have equivalent experience. Applicants must be eligible for Texas licensure.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
