Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor - Ambulatory Pharmacotherapy - Non-Tenure-Track

Description:

The University of Houston, College of Pharmacy invites qualified applicants to apply for a full time clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Administration.

Area of interest sought is ambulatory pharmacotherapy.

The successful candidate will join existing groups of academicians in the area and be expected to develop and maintain scholarship, teaching and service in the ambulatory care area. Responsibilities include: developing, coordinating and delivering ambulatory care experiential education opportunities for pharmacy students of all levels; developing and maintaining an innovative Federally Qualified Health Center clinical practice site, working alongside medical faculty and residents.

Candidates should possess a PharmD. degree and have completed post-doctoral training programs in the practice area, with fluency in Spanish a plus. Clinician applicants must be eligible for Texas licensure.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
