Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Music Education - Two (2) Positions - Tenure-Track

Description:

Responsibilities: Teach music education courses according to the strengths of the candidate and the needs of the area. Actively engage with the music education community on the national, state and, especially, local levels, Participate in the recruitment and retention of outstanding music education students at all levels. Supervise theses and doctoral documents. In addition, duties might include the coordination of all or part of the music education area.

Qualifications: Essential qualifications include a doctorate in music education, demonstrated success in teaching public school music, and a demonstrated capacity for scholarly productivity and professional leadership at the state and national levels.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are specialists in the areas of Elementary Music, General Music, or Strings.

RANK AND SALARY: (tenure track) candidates will be considered for all ranks; salary commensurate with training and experience.
