Clinical Assistant Professor - Mediation Clinic Director - Legal Aid Clinic - Non-Tenure-Track

Description:

The University of Houston Law Center is seeking a non-tenure track, Clinical Assistant Professor to be the director of (and to teach in) the Mediation and ADR Clinics.

The Director's duties include conducting appropriate supervisory training, mentoring students, teaching the 40 hour basic mediation trainings to law students, supervising students as they provide live mediation services within the community, and providing appropriate classroom instruction.

The UH Law Center Mediation and ADR Clinic assist students to become certified mediators who work within the community to provide pro bono mediation services in a variety of settings.

We are looking for candidates with excellent academic credentials as well as practical experience who are licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Prior teaching experience and scholarship will be looked upon favorably.
