Clinical Assistant Professor - Nutrition Non-Tenure-Track
The Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Houston is seeking a nutrition specialist with demonstrable academic skills for a clinical assistant professor. The position is a 9-month appointment with Summer school teaching optional. Effective date of appointment will be Fall 2014.
Qualification: Ph.D. preferred or Master’s degree in nutrition or related field. Registered Dietitian credentials are strongly preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to teach a variety of nutrition-related courses. Ability to use a variety of educational technologies to deliver course content.
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in nutrition. Perform service to the department, college, university and the profession.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications.
