Assistant Professor – Creative Writing – African American Literary Heritage – Tenure Track

Description:

The Creative Writing Program of the Department of English at the University of Houston is seeking to fill a tenure track position in fiction writing, at the Assistant Professor rank, with a writer working in the African American Literary heritage who can enhance the understanding and appreciation of African American writing. Ideally, applicants should have established themselves as accomplished writers and have the potential to be effective teachers.
