Full Professor - Communication Sciences and Disorders - Tenured or Tenure-Track
Full professor sought for an exciting opportunity to develop a clinical doctoral program at the University of Houston, a CAA-accredited program in speech-language pathology. The University of Houston is uniquely positioned to have a world class clinical doctorate program, and seeks a leader. The ideal candidate will demonstrate vision, administrative skills, and networking abilities. Responsibilities will include: establishing contracts with the many hospitals in the Texas Medical Center and environs; developing clinical doctoral program curriculum; determining necessary resources; teaching and research in area of interest. This full time, tenure track position will begin in Fall 2014.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (www.class.uh.edu/comd) has approximately 200 undergraduate and 75 graduate students and offers B.A. and B.S. degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a post-baccalaureate leveling program and an M.A. degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Our on-campus clinic provides services to the greater Houston area across the age span.
