Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Studies

 
As Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Studies, Agnes L. DeFranco has oversight of Undergraduate Scholars at UH, the Office of Academic Program Management, the Learning and Assessment Services, UH Charter School, UH Writing Center, and the Undergraduate Discovery Programs. She has responsibility for the review of undergraduate programs, assessment of the core curriculum, developmental education, and scholarship programs such as the Provost Undergraduate Research Scholarships. She also works with various constituencies on issues of retention and graduation.

Additionally, as a member of the Executive Associate Vice President for Academic and Faculty Affairs' staff, she also has general responsibilities as assigned.
