The Energy Research Park is located approximately 1/2 mile off main campus. ERP is accessible via the UH Shuttle Bus Eastwood/ERP line. Please see the Related Links to your left for more information about the UH Shuttle Bus service.

To Energy Research Park:
- from UH Campus via Cullen
- from UH Campus via Elgin

- from I-45 heading south-bound

From Energy Research Park to UH Campus:
- to UH Campus via Elgin
- to UH Campus via Cullen
- to UH Campus via University Drive (UH Main Entrance 1)
From UH Campus to ERP via Cullen
Go north on Cullen to I-45. Turn right and proceed up onto the ramp for the
South I-45 frontage road, but do not enter the freeway. Stay on frontage road,
and go down under the underpass. Keep to the right here, as you will see the
Energy Research Park just after the underpass. Turn in to the 2nd driveway
(middle drive of 3) and proceed back to the parking areas.

From UH Campus to ERP via Elgin
Go east on Elgin to I-45. Proceed past the traffic light and take the I-45 South
on-ramp. [Note: there are 2 on-ramps very close together - take the second one.]
Do not get on the freeway. Proceed on the frontage road and go down under the
underpass. Keep to the right here, as you will see the Energy Research Park
just after the underpass. Turn in to the 2nd driveway (middle drive of 3) and
proceed back to the parking areas.

From UH Campus to ERP via University Drive
Take University Drive east, away from campus, to Spur 5. Turn left and proceed
towards I-45 South. You will come to the intersection of Elgin. Turn right.
Almost immediately, you will need to turn right again to take the on-ramp to
I-45 South. [Note: there are 2 on-ramps very close together here - take the
second one.] Stay to the middle or right-hand lanes of the access road and do
not enter the freeway. Take the underpass and keep to the right, as you will
see the Energy Research Park just after the underpass. Turn in to the 2nd
driveway (middle drive of 3) and proceed back to the parking areas.

To ERP from I-45
Heading south on I-45.
Exit Cullen [Exit No. 44]. Proceed up onto the on-ramp for the south-bound I-45
frontage road, but do not enter the freeway. Stay on frontage road, and go down
under the underpass. Keep to the right here, as you will see the Energy Research Park just after the underpass. Turn in to the 2nd driveway (middle drive
of 3) and proceed back to the parking areas.

To ERP from I-45 **
Heading north on I-45.
Exit Tellepsen [Exit No. 43-B]. Immediately get to the far right, and exit the
frontage road onto the Tellepsen-Schlumberger Street spur. Turn left and go
under the freeway, then left again onto the southbound frontage road**. The Business
Park will be directly ahead on your right. Enter the 2nd driveway and proceed
back to the parking areas.

To Campus from the Energy Research Park
To come back to Elgin, Cullen, or University Drive (Main entrance 1)
Leave the Energy Research Park and exit onto the I-45 frontage road. You
will be headed southbound. Proceed towards the Telephone Road intersection and
make a U-turn there back under the freeway. You may either immediately get on
the freeway or stay on the access road. If you get on the freeway, you will
exit again almost immediately at Elgin-Lockwood/Cullen [Exit No. 44].
To Elgin:
From the access road, the first intersection after the exit is Elgin. Turn left
and go under the freeway onto Elgin to return to campus

To UH Campus from the Energy Research Park
To come back to Elgin, Cullen, or University Drive (Main entrance 1)
Leave the Energy Research Park and exit onto the I-45 frontage road. You
will be headed southbound. Proceed towards the Telephone Road intersection and
make a U-turn there back under the freeway. You may either immediately get on
the freeway or stay on the access road. If you get on the freeway, you will
exit again almost immediately at Elgin-Lockwood/Cullen [Exit No. 44].
To Cullen:
From the access road, go past Elgin to the Cullen intersection. Turn left and
go under the freeway onto Cullen to return to campus.

To UH Campus from the Energy Research Park
To come back to Elgin, Cullen, or University Drive (Main entrance 1)
Leave the Energy Research Park and exit onto the I-45 frontage road. You
will be headed southbound. Proceed towards the Telephone Road intersection and
make a U-turn there back under the freeway. You may either immediately get on
the freeway or stay on the access road. If you get on the freeway, you will
exit again almost immediately at Elgin-Lockwood/Cullen [Exit No. 44].
To University Drive (UH Main entrance 1):
From the access road, take the farthest left turn lane at the Elgin intersection.
Turn left under the freeway and proceed to the second light. Turn left at this
light onto the southbound frontage road of Spur 5 [Dr. John Coleman Memorial
Highway]. Turn right at University Drive, and proceed across Calhoun into UH
Main Entrance 1.
