Letters to the Houston Community Go Texan

Howdy! As a new Texan, I am very excited to announce that the University of Houston will once again participate in Go Texan Day this Friday, Feb. 29, in honor of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I encourage all of you who would like to participate to wear country-western attire on that day.

This year, over 200 UH System students received scholarships from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo totaling more than $600,000. So add a touch of Texas to your Cougar Red and Go Texan this Friday!
