President Renu Khator attends as many university events as possible, especially those involving students. From unscheduled walks through the University Center, to classroom visits, to sports events, hers is a familiar and recognizable face around campus. Usually wearing Cougar red – she has declared Fridays as “red days” on campus – President Khator toured all the university’s major buildings and visited all 12 colleges during the first few months of her presidency. She has now started a series of visits to all of the university’s 50-plus departments.
