If you are interested in becoming a certified pharmacy technician, the test is offered four times a year. Many people pass the exam with self study, so don't put it off because you think you have to take extra classes. Pharmacy schools like to see experience within a pharmacy on your application, and being a certified technician is very useful in obtaining a position to gain your experience.
