A note to those just beginning their pre-pharmacy journey...

Pharmacy school is very competitive to get into and there are many factors that contribute to your acceptance into school.  Most importantly, keep your grades as high as possible.  Additionally, by joining the PPA, we can help each other excel in extra-curricular volunteer activities, and by forming study groups through networking within the association. What do we mean by competitive?

Here is a look at 2005's admissions statistics:

  • There were 772 applications for 125 spots.

  • The entering class averaged a 3.5 GPA.

  • The PCAT Examination composite score for the entering class averaged 86%.

Other Info for entering class of 2005:

  • Approximately 50% of the students accepted have earned a BS degree or higher.

  • The average age for the entering class is approximately 25.

  • Our classes are approximately 70% female and 30% male.
