University of Houston Graphic Standards
This university has an amazing story to tell. All the communications our campus produces help tell that story to our numerous audiences. The effectiveness of our messaging is greatly influenced with strong, unified marketing and communications. The University of Houston clarified its core message through a year-long rebranding journey involving students, faculty, staff, alumni and senior administrative officials, led by President Khator.
The resulting brand style guide can be downloaded as a PDF on an internal UH web page, using your cougarnetID to login. This proprietary information is meant to help the Cougar family tell our story. The brand is a broad foundation for all of us. It can flex to meet the unique marketing and communication needs of your area.
Over the course of the fall 2013 semester, this graphic standards website will be thoroughly updated to include aspects of our branding that aren't covered in the style guide, like logo usage. For now, please continue to use the standards below as a guide while incorporating the new brand look and voice.
Transitioning to a new style takes time and collaborative effort. We encourage you to reach out with questions by emailing marketing@uh.edu.
