Security Alert

 

Aggravated Robbery - CLEARED BY ARREST HPD Officers stopped a vehicle matching the description of the one stolen from the complainant. UHDPS Officers responded and positively identified the vehicle as the one stolen in this case. UHDPS Officers questioned the suspect, who confessed. A line-up containing the suspect’s picture was shown to the complainant who positively identified the suspect as the individual who robbed him. The suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and remanded into the custody of the Harris County Jail.

 

SUSPECT:

Black male, approximately 5’ 8” in height, approximately 21 years old, approximately 140 pounds, short cropped hair, wearing an orange bandana around his neck, a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

 

WEAPONS:
A silver revolver with pearl handle was brandished by the suspect.

 

VEHICLE:
Vehicle stolen from complainant - 2005 Lincoln LS, silver and beige in color, Texas License Plate 662-HTG, no tint on windows, possible yellow paint transfer on the left side of the front bumper.

 

SYNOPSIS:
At approximately 6:13 p.m., Wednesday Sept. 19, the complainant drove into UH parking lot 4A and parked his vehicle. As the complainant was exiting his vehicle, the suspect walked up to the complainant demanding his car keys. The suspect brandished a silver revolver demanding the complainant’s car keys and wallet. The complainant complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect struck a parking bollard in the complainant’s vehicle while leaving the lot. The vehicle exited the lot northbound onto Calhoun Road and then turned right onto Martin Luther King Boulevard traveling southbound.

The complainant was not injured during this incident.
