Security Alert

 

Attempted Sexual Assault CLEARED BY ARREST.  An arrest warrant was obtained by UHDPS and subsequently served by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

 

SUSPECT #1:    A known Black male approximately 6’1” in height, 37 – 38 years old, approximately 170, thin build. 

 

WEAPON:         None

 

VEHICLE:         None

 

SYNOPSIS:    A visitor reported she was physically (sexually) groped by a known acquaintance on Sunday, July 29, 2007 while attending an event (weekly scheduled church service) at the Hilton Hotel.  The complainant advised that after attending the event she and the perpetrator were talking and got into an elevator.  While on the elevator the perpetrator forced the complainant against the wall of the elevator and sexually fondled the complainant.  The complainant reported the incident to the University of Houston Department of Public Safety (UHDPS) on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. The incident is actively being investigated by the UHDPS.
