Security Alert

 

April 26, 2007 Sexual Assault at Moody Towers.  Student reported she was sexually assault in Moody Towers.  CLEARED BY ARREST.  The suspect was known by the complainant and was charged with one (1) count of sexual assault.  The suspect has been released from the custody of the Harris County Jail after posting a $10,000.00 bond.

 

SUSPECT #1: African-American male

 

WEAPON:      None

 

VEHICLE:     None

 

SYNOPSIS:    A student reported that she was sexually assaulted on April 26 in Moody Towers by an acquaintance who lives in that residence hall. The student reported that she was sleeping and woke up when assaulted.  A second complainant also came forward and reported that the same individual attempted to sexually assault her on February 26 in a Moody Towers room.  The University of Houston Department of Public Safety obtained a warrant and arrested the suspect this morning.
