Report a Crime
Reporting crime is everyone's
responsibility. If you see a crime being committed on or around
campus or are a victim of a crime, report it immediately. UHDPS is
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week including holidays. When
you report a crime, dispatch will send an available officer to your
location.
The University of Houston
Department of Public Safety has also made available an
Online Offense
Report for your convenience.
This form is not to be used to report crimes that are in progress,
traffic collisions, or other incidents that would require an
immediate response. In those instances, you should dial 911 or
call the UHDPS dispatch center at 713-743-3333.
This form should only be used to
report offences that occur on the property of the following
campuses:
University of Houston central
campus
University of Houston System at
Sugar Land
University of Houston System at
Cinco Ranch
University of Houston - Victoria
If the offense you are reporting
occurred in another jurisdiction or on another campus, please
contact the appropriate police or sheriff’s department.
