The
University of Houston Police Department continually works with
the university community to make the campus a safe place to learn, work,
and live. Our escort service is designed for community members who have
specific safety concerns and desire having another present when traversing
the campus. This Program utilizes UHPD's Cougar Patrol to escort students,
faculty and staff to locations beginning and ending on campus. If you feel
that you need an escort please call 3-3333. The Cougar Patrol may either
accompany you to your requested destination on foot or, if necessary, use
one of our new "Think" vehicles.
